Next to wars, pandemies, global warming, natural disasters,famine and limited nuclear warfare, 54 milion survivor(s), mainly based in south America, Africa and scattered in Asia gathered themselfes for a common purpose : survival of humanity, managed to rebuild the "world" under the Aegis of United Nations, who had power over governments, laws, armies etc ..



No more financial crisis or inegalities : just a common goal : progress



Research in genetics, materials, fusion power, robotics and AI allowed those next steps :

Genetic therapy allowed bioEngineered viruses targeting humans cells : 

- New crops with high ROI and conservation rate -> no more famine
- Human body was almost immune to radiation thanks to scorpio's genes, no more cancers
 


Enginneers built then a magnetic catapult for unmanned orbit payloads :

( there was no need in sending mens in space, nor make a spatial elevator .. which is much more harder to do btw .. ) 



Launches succeded for a few months to send payload in orbit, then assembler robots assembled a ship in orbit, ionic drive powered.



Ship headed for the asteroid belt with miners, assembling units, replicating units.

Then established outpost : an autonomous factory for solar panels

Solar panel and new robotic units were then "sailed" for earth's orbits to be assembled.



Then "gatherers" with microwave antennas sends the collected energy beams to earth.

Collected via rectennaes ( expecting 50% loss )

Energy will be stored then in Capacitors, fuels cells, or direct electricity for "superstate" purposes
